Juan Morel is a massive Super-Heavyweight sponsored bodybuilder from Manhattan, New York. His parents came from the Dominican Republic and moved to the USA for a better life.
Before being a bodybuilder, he was a successful handball player and a boxer. Juan was always looking for a sport where physical strength was needed to beat opponents and the first contact with weight training was when he decided to increase his body weight to practice boxing. He began to buy bodybuilding magazines and was fascinated by the competitors posing at the Mr. Olympia. After building a huge muscular physique, he started his competitive bodybuilding career in 2007 and since 2011 he has been an IFBB Pro bodybuilder.
