The bodybuilding world was shaken last week when it was announced that Kai Greene joined REDCON1. What many people may not know, is that while REDCON1 is popular amongst the bodybuilding community, the brand is also a prominent name among pro-wrestlers and fans. When REDCON1 CEO Aaron Singerman started to notice consumers of the brand were also fans of professional wrestling or the wrestlers themselves, the name that was always being mentioned was that of Kenny Omega. The accolades Omega’s career have racked up include being named both the Wrestler of the Year in 2017, and the Top Male Wrestler in 2018, by Sports Illustrated, as well as his recent induction into the Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2020.
“Over the last year, I’ve focused on my health and found that REDCON1 works well for me,” Omega announced on social media. “For months I’ve been working with them to create my own TOTAL WAR pre-workout. I’m proud to finally launch the V-TRIGGER TOTAL WAR + Collector’s Edition Shirt. The flavor is inspired for my love of Lemonheads Candy. The shirt design captures both my love of Japan and my future here in the US.”
Kenny Omega has enjoyed a 20-year career as an elite athlete and global wrestling superstar. Not only is Omega an owner, executive, and wrestler for All Elite Wrestling, but he is also leading creative for the new AEW Games, which is getting set to launch an Xbox and PlayStation console game, plus two mobile games. Omega is the first REDCON1 athlete or partner in company history that has ever been featured on a product label.
