Top 3

Winner – Hassan Mostafa

With great lighting and a lineup of competitors that were on point, this turned out to be a fantastic contest, and Mostafa can hold his head high as the champion. The judges placed him first in both prejudging and finals, and it’s clear why. His muscular density combined with razor sharp conditioning stood out in a very competitive lineup. If he chooses to take time off to prepare for the 2022 Olympia, then he can do so with a lot of confidence.

Speaking of the Olympia, Mostafa was already qualified thanks to his first win in Puerto Rico. That means no Olympia qualification will be awarded from this contest. The second through fifth place finishers earn points in the qualifying system, which could help them move on to the Olympia if they finish in the top three of that group.

Runner-Up – Andrea Presti

Presti may have looked the best he ever had at this contest. His only issue was going up against a competitor in Mostafa that had more dense muscle and momentum going into the show. Presti’s upper body looked very impressive from all sides. He had been working on the quads and it showed, but a little more outer sweep would serve him well. There is no word on what show he will do next, but whichever contest it is, he will be in the mix.

Third Place – Phil Clahar

We had mentioned Clahar in our predictions for this show, and he proved us right for doing so. His front poses are very impressive, and he’s improved significantly in his time away from the stage. The only issue he had was that he looked slightly flat in prejudging, which is what bumped him down to third place. However, he was able to adjust accordingly, and his physique looked much better in the finals. If he can bring his finals look in Orlando to the prejudging of his next show, he will contend for the win.
